Wheel balancing
Keeping your wheels in balance gives a comfortable ride and prolongs the life of your tyres and suspension. Every newly fitted tyre is balanced before the wheel goes back on your car, using centre-less wheel balancing.

Good to know
Tyres explained.
Straightforward advice from the EK Tyres team in Chepstow.
Wheel alignment
Computerised alignment equipment measures every alignment angle on today’s cars. We offer a free wheel alignment check and only charge you if an adjustment is needed.
Valves
All new tyres come with new valves as standard. Valves keep your tyre pressure where it should be, and we recommend a new valve whenever a tyre comes off the rim — for a puncture repair, for example.
Puncture repair
We repair punctures to British Standard guidelines. If the damage is in the shoulder or sidewall the tyre can’t be repaired safely — if that’s the case, our technician will show you why.
Tread depth
As tread wears down a tyre clears less water, so grip when cornering and braking in the wet gets worse. The UK legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tread — we’ll check yours for free.
The EU tyre label explained
Every new tyre carries a label rating fuel efficiency (A–G, from rolling resistance), wet grip (A–F, braking on wet roads) and external noise in decibels (classes 1–3). We’ll help you compare them and choose.
